Naptime can occur at any moment in this household

We only wish we could sleep this good. Yes, I know his underwear are on backwards AND inside out. (And boy, am I glad they're clean underwear LOL) I'm not allowed to put them on, anymore. He can do it himself! The determination of a 2 year old is hard is beat.

My husband and the typical senior pose

Hehee. My poor hubby is often mistreated and abused by the likes of me. I'm always taking pictures of him, especially when the kids won't cooperate, when I want to practice something. Tonight was using my OCF in the typical senior pose. I think I got it. :)

I love Daddy

My friend MaryAnn told me that there would come a time when Daddy was the bomb. Colton would no longer want to follow me around. I thought that I couldn't wait until that day came. Having three children need all of my attention ALL the time was wearing me out. It seems that day has come and I have to admit, it makes me a bit teary-eyed. I see how all the kids get excited when they see that Daddy is home. It's a good thing, but a reminder that they're growing up and realizing that there's more to life than just Mommy. :(

Sneak peek of Ms. M

Ms. M came to my house for a boudoir shoot. She was nervous as all get out. After I showed her a few of the shots I was getting, she loosened up. It took about 20 minutes before she let loose. And then, wow!! Here's a few pics of our session. Yeah, killer body and she's all legs. :)

Oh yeah....it's good, Mommy

Dinty Moore Beef Stew. It's a hearty meal. It's a messy meal. At least it is when you let a one year old eat it by herself. It's even on the chair behind her. LOL

A penny for your thoughts

I'd love to have a sneak peek at what goes on in their heads. She seems so peaceful while she's in thought staring out the window. I'm sure she's just scheming her next attack on Colton or Carly, though. :)

Too much of a good thing?

According to Carly, you can never have too many pacifiers.

Computer geeks

We moved Colton's computer into his room because the girls kept climbing on it, rebooting it, unplugging it.....all in all, just kept messing with it. We figured it would let him have some alone time if it was in his room. And maybe, just maybe, he might go to sleep in his own bed for a change.

Yeah, right. On all accounts. Now the girls just follow him into his room. Although, they are a bit more interested in what he's doing on the computer than just fiddling with it. He's really cute when he tells them what he's doing. :)

Hangin' out with Mr. C

It's not often that I get to hang out with Colton alone. I do my best to get all the kids to nap at the same time so I can remain sane throughout the week. Unfortunately, Colton is bucking naptime and usually goes until he falls down right before Daddy comes home from work. Not much of a break for me. :(

Today, Colton made a beeline for the backyard while I was doing laundry. I hate it when I walk into a room and the child that was there previously had suddenly disappeared. I should know to look outside first, but no. I go through his room, the bathroom, the hiding place in the dining room, back to my bedroom (like I wouldn't have noticed him going by me). Ok, ok....maybe I wouldn't have noticed. But that's not the point. As I head to the kitchen, I see that the sliding glass door is wide open. I see his head bobbing through the window as he's running down the stairs. Happy as a clam.

So, we hung out for a while and enjoyed the pretty day. Yes, he's wearing Spongebob underwear and a t-shirt. I consider it a good day that he's got a shirt on. :)

The battle

What would make little girls push, shove, tackle each other, scramble under a table, pull hair, and cry? A remote, of course! The dreaded remote. As soon as they see it, they both want it. If one of them happens to come across it when I'm not looking, a fight follows shortly after. BTW, do you think it might be time for haircuts? LOL

Boudoir with Holly

My friends know that it takes a lot to make me speechless. No matter what's going on, I can usually find something to say about it. I do believe Holly simply shocked the words right out of my head. Holly was the one that started me on the boudoir path. When I first started my website, she asked me if I would be interested in taking some pictures of her for her husband. I told her to give me some time to practice and I'd be more than happy to make that happen.

Well, up until now I'd practiced on some very shy girls. I mean, no one is really comfortable being half naked around friends or strangers, right? Maybe it's just me, but unless I'm having a baby or some other surgery, I'd rather not scare people.

Holly came in and had NO issues with strutting her stuff. Let me tell you, if I looked like her, I wouldn't either. She was a lot more daring and adventurous than I was expecting. I guess that's why I was speechless for almost 4 hours! Hahahaa! She definitely bumped it up a step or two. She came for some sexy pictures and she got 'em! We had a great shoot and a ton of fun. I'd love to show you some of the fantastic shots, but fortunately or unfortuantely.....those are for her dear hubby's eyes only. I can only say this.....Holly is a VIXEN!!!

Boudoir session with Carrie

Oh yes, another boudoir session. So much fun! Just one more and we'll finally launch the website. I'm so stinkin' excited!!
Carrie was handpicked by me and I'm so glad she agreed to be my guinea pig. But as you can see by these pictures, I had no reason to worry. She is stunning!! Thanks Carrie!!

Labor Day fun

We went to Mamaw and Papaw Bingham's house for the last cookout of the year. Scott enjoyed his day off hanging out with the family (even though he usually has Monday's off anyway :)) Sadly, the rest of the family couldn't make it so it was just us.

I didn't bring my camera with me. I don't know what I was thinking! I had to borrow my mother-in-law's point and shoot so I could snag some shots of the girls playing on her bench. No edits on these pictures, just snapshots. It was windy out and they were lovin' the air blowing in their faces. :)

How two 1 year olds have fun

Apparently, Mommy is not allowed to use the restroom and be gone for more than 1 minute because they WILL occupy themselves. I kept hearing Colton yelling "No, baby!" but I just assumed they were touching his cars. Oy vey!

How a 2 year old has fun

It's almost the end of the summer, but we've still had some nice warm days. Today, Colton and I ran through the sprinkler. Yep, you heard correctly. I ran through the sprinkler. I didn't even bother putting on my swimsuit. I just ran through it fully clothed. Thank God Scott wasn't around to take a picture of that. LOL

9/4/09

I'm pretty sure she gets it from me

Her tongue, that is. LOL Of course, it could just be the attitude. :)

9/3/09

Absolutely pathetic

What a chore it is to get a good picture of Colton. It's been that way for over a year now. He's just so exasperated anytime we pick up the camera. It's like "for the love of Pete, would you please stop taking my picture?" What a little drama king. :)

9/2/09

While the cat's away....

The mice will play. In other words, Colton's napping and the girls are taking full advantage of the cars. LOL

9/1/09

Yeah, I'm walking

Daddy's home! The most glorious time of the day.....when my pinch hitter comes home from work! LOL The kids all go crazy when he walks in and it's so much fun to see. Carly's been walking for about a week now and it's so cute to watch her toddle around. She looks like Clyde from "Every Which Way But Loose" Hahahaa. I'm sure the diaper has something to do with the wobble. That's a new diaper, by the way.....I didn't want anyone thinking I'm letting her go around with a 14lbs. diaper. LOL
