Twin brothers

I was fortunate enough to play with another set of twins. Blake and Heath are a little over a month old and oh…so so sweet. Seeing them reminded me of the newborn days with my girls. So very fun. Yes….so very exhausting, but still very fun. It makes your heart go pitter pat. :) I realize that our memory starts to fade the older we get, the more children we have, as well as how much time has passed since you functioned on a 3 hour schedule for months. Yeah, yeah, yeah….I know. I forget those things. Hehee.

Regardless, these little men were such a joy. Blake slept for the majority of the time and Heath gave me a run for my money. He was just too interested in what was going on. New surroundings, new people. You know, that kinda thing. He gave me about 10 minutes TOPS to get all my pictures. I hope their Mommy and Daddy like them. And I hope they’re getting some rest soon. :)

Here’s just a teaser. More to come this weekend.

My babies and our fun days outside

boudoirblogtest2 What more can I say? It’s been so much fun since the weather warmed up and now we can play outside. They’re occupied and I can sit and enjoy my coffee. What a lovely day! Of course, I have realized that there are many toys that we should have bought three. What were we thinking?

Aruba

Beautiful weather. Always 90+ degrees with a cool breeze. Deceiving because I got a sunburn the two days we laid out in the sun….even with a base tan and sunscreen! Not a huge tourist place, at least in our opinion. It was more authentic. Outside of downtown Oranjestad (except for the High Rise Hotel area) was very poor and extremely dirty. It was disheartening to see all the closed buildings and stores with broken windows. Just completely rundown. We could only imagine that at one time, this place was hoppin’!

That being said, we still enjoyed our time away and are very grateful for the help we received from family. Thank you!!!!

Callum, my little man

He’s been to visit me three times now and each time, he gets bigger, cuter, and much more smiley. Although, truth be told, I had to coax out the smiles last week. He was just too enthralled with all the people and places and things at Wegerzyn’s. And the wind made him make silly faces. :) I loved those. Here are a few from our session.

callum4 callum2callum1callum3They are definitely more artistic. He didn’t want to look at me and smile….just too busy. Don’t worry, I got tricks and even though they don’t work all the time, they do work some times. His day is coming and I will get all the giggles in the world! :) Your nine month session will be a blast, little man! Hehehe!

Is it a Magnolia tree?

Yeah, I don’t have a green thumb and I’m not aware of all the proper genus blah blah names of plants and animals. I do remember we were taught it in biology, but in my defense, that was years ago and I’ve slept since then. :) All I know is we thought it was pretty and it made for a great backdrop. Here is Miss Kaitlyn, 1 year old. Isn’t she beautiful? And quite the ham, too.

Three little boys

The energy that these little ones have amaze me. I truly wish I had 1/4 of their energy. I’m not even gonna be greedy and ask for half!! They ran and jumped and played while I did my best to keep up with them. We had a fun game of “Why are we….” in the car on the ride home. I have to admit, I giggled a few times at the silliness of it all. I mean, where do they come up with this stuff?

In the meantime, Mom did a great job keeping a baby from fussing at me. Mr. Man is 9 months old. How did that happen?? I swear it was just yesterday that I was paging Mom’s OB and tattling on her for laboring at work instead of getting admitted to the hospital.

<<<<“Oh, I’m not in labor…..oooooooohhhhhhhhh……….one sec…(insert hips rocking, head down, eyes closed, no talking, deep breathing)………….ooooohhhh……see, I’m fine”.

Uh huh. Yeah….give me the phone.>>>>

Anyway, those were good times. But flashback over.

Here are the boys, hope you enjoy!
