Me and my babies

It's rare that I'm in a picture with my kids because I'm always the one behind the camera. I decided it was time to change that or I'd never have a picture of me with my babies. Here we are playing. I love playing with my babies. :)

More of a blank stare Christmas

There's something about my kids that make them give me a blank stare when I'm trying to get a picture of them. I swear they smile all the time, laugh constantly. Until I bring out the camera. Then it's just the "hurry up and get this over with" look. Maybe next year? At least I got them to look at me!

For my mom

I hate how this site makes everything look awful. This picture looks fantastic before I resized it for web viewing. Mommy's little tinkerbells.

Pumpkin patch 2009

We didn't go to the pumpkin patch last year because I'm married to the biggest nay-sayer, boohoo-er fuddy duddy in all of Ohio and Indiana combined. It was just too much work and they were too young to even enjoy it. Doesn't it know that half the stuff we do is for US, not them? LOL
Well, I got my way this year. The girls had a blast with the pumpkins and the hay bales. So much that I had a hard time getting them to sit still or look at me. Yeah, you're right honey....they're too young to enjoy it.
And Colton? Well, he is his father's son. Absolutely thrilled. Boy, am I in trouble when he hits his teens. Hey Colton....don't smile or anything.

Whatta booger!

Apparently, picking your nose is the next best thing to picking on your sister.

Good vs. Evil

Thanks Lorie! :)

It's raining outside....blah

And we're bored. Poor things just stand at the sliding glass door watching it rain. Pitiful.

Blank stares

I'm on my way out the door for work and the girls just got up from a nap. Oddly enough, we all have same expression on our faces. Hehee.

A penny for your thoughts

I'd love to have a sneak peek at what goes on in their heads. She seems so peaceful while she's in thought staring out the window. I'm sure she's just scheming her next attack on Colton or Carly, though. :)

Computer geeks

We moved Colton's computer into his room because the girls kept climbing on it, rebooting it, unplugging it.....all in all, just kept messing with it. We figured it would let him have some alone time if it was in his room. And maybe, just maybe, he might go to sleep in his own bed for a change.

Yeah, right. On all accounts. Now the girls just follow him into his room. Although, they are a bit more interested in what he's doing on the computer than just fiddling with it. He's really cute when he tells them what he's doing. :)

The battle

What would make little girls push, shove, tackle each other, scramble under a table, pull hair, and cry? A remote, of course! The dreaded remote. As soon as they see it, they both want it. If one of them happens to come across it when I'm not looking, a fight follows shortly after. BTW, do you think it might be time for haircuts? LOL

Labor Day fun

We went to Mamaw and Papaw Bingham's house for the last cookout of the year. Scott enjoyed his day off hanging out with the family (even though he usually has Monday's off anyway :)) Sadly, the rest of the family couldn't make it so it was just us.

I didn't bring my camera with me. I don't know what I was thinking! I had to borrow my mother-in-law's point and shoot so I could snag some shots of the girls playing on her bench. No edits on these pictures, just snapshots. It was windy out and they were lovin' the air blowing in their faces. :)

How two 1 year olds have fun

Apparently, Mommy is not allowed to use the restroom and be gone for more than 1 minute because they WILL occupy themselves. I kept hearing Colton yelling "No, baby!" but I just assumed they were touching his cars. Oy vey!

I'm pretty sure she gets it from me

Her tongue, that is. LOL Of course, it could just be the attitude. :)

Where is my maid?

The child missing from the picture is the one responsible. He flew into his bedroom when I saw the mess. I don't think he wants to live until he's 3.

There's only one....that means a meltdown

My husband seems to think it's funny to give the girls one toy and watch them fight it out. He's so mean. However, this picture is of the girls fighting over a Mickey Mouse bracelet that my mom left. I don't have two of them or they'd each have one. I didn't purposefully give it to them, in fact, it was hidden. As you can see, they found it and they both wanted it. Carly won today.

My little monkeys jumping on the bed

Was it ten little monkeys or ten little indians jumping on the bed? I can't remember. Well, for this post, it's gonna be just three little monkeys. :)

Now these last two pictures are of very poor quality. But that's because I basically took them in the dark. I heard some commotion in the girls' room and from the hall, I could see Colton inside Carly's crib. I grabbed my camera and got him in action. JUMPING in the crib!! If he breaks that crib, I'm gonna break his butt! LOL

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!

We drove through Dairy Queen today after dinner. Yummy! The girls have never had ice cream before and I thought it was time to introduce them to one of life's simple pleasures. We bought them baby cones and drove like maniacs trying to make it home before they melted. I had to keep licking them so they wouldn't drip on me. The poor girls could do nothing but sit there in their car seats and watch me eat their desserts. LOL

When we got home and stripped them naked, oh it was a sight to be seen. They knew exactly what to do with those cones. However, they were not prepared for it be cold. Hahaha. Both of them gave a bit of a shiver/sour face and then dug right back in.

Yeah, it was messy. But it was worth it. They thoroughly enjoyed their ice cream cones. :)

Here's Carly chowing down.

And Keira going to town.

Daddy didn't want to do it because of the mess it would make. Boo on him. I'm glad I won that fight. Yeah, mommy's fun. You remember that little girls.

Family

Today was the Mills Family reunion. So I thought it fitting to put up some pictures of family. This is Scott's sister, Angie and her family.

Makayla

Kirsten

Boy, this pose must run in the family. I've seen this shot way too many times from Colton. This is Aidan's version. :)

Mamaw Bingham and Carly.
Papaw Bingham

And this is my family. As you can see, I'm missing one rugrat. He is completely and utterly against having his picture taken for any reason. Hence, he is not in the picture.
Although, I snagged a few of them when he wasn't attention. He's not smiling and he's often being rotten, but they're still of him so I love them. Here he is chewing on his shirt. Don't ask me why he does that cuz I don't know. Teething?

Sittin' at the dock of the bay

Ok, not really. But we are sitting outside while Mommy gets the clothes off the line. :) We're getting ready to take a trip to Kentucky. Or.....Papatucky as Colton calls it. Hehee.
